Our Parish is part of the Diocese of Manchester, and its website states its vision is to be
a worshipping, growing, transforming Christian presence at the heart of every community.
Our work together grows out of Jesus’s Great Commandment which is to ‘love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind…and love your neighbour as yourself’. (Matthew 22: 36-40)…
… and out of his Great Commission, ‘to go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit’ (Matthew 28:19-20).

Here in Walmersley,
Our existing church buildings are not sustainable;
we need to decide what facilities we need
to be able to serve the community in the future.
To do that we need to work with neighbours and partners
to clarify what the needs of our community are.
