OCTOBER

Our HARVEST FESTIVAL was followed by a lunch of soup, bread and fruit pie

For a week our churchyard was populated by scarecrows - and there are lots of photos to see

AUGUST / SEPTEMBER

Paul Sanderson has organised two Pilgimage Walks to link all our churches. The first was on August 19th and the second will be on September 9th with details below. Please feel free to join just a section of the walk or to join walkers as they rest and pray at one of the stops.

Paul has written:

The walk is an opportunity to pray for the parishes which make up our mission community. The fellowship, an appreciation of nature and the environment in which our churches are located will give us a focus. We will use this to hold the individual parts, which make the whole, in prayer.

The route is mainly on roads and tracks so there is little (note little not no) potential mud. Stout shoes, drinks and packed lunch are a must and clothing appropriate to the weather conditions. There will be plenty of rests and an opportunity for a loo stop at the lunch point.

If you are walking the whole route you will need to arrange transport to the start and from the end. If you are planning to join us at any point, remember the timings for arrival are approximate. You can contact me on 07795 810016 to check where we are up to on the day.

Let’s pray for good weather.
Yours in Christ, Paul
